“Notes From The Field” represents five improvised conversations that were recorded live with no edititing, or pre planned musical form. They showcase how, through commitment, trust, and listening, we can cross the language barriers and cultural divides that can pull us apart and begin to find peace together. Conversation numbers 3 and 4 are recorded at a live concert in Xiamen, China. Conversation #4 was performed for and dedicated to the people of Japan after the May 19, Tsunami.
